Dear academics, researchers, scientists and technologists, scholars, research firms and government agencies, We are glad to invite you in our first International Conference in Computing, Information Technology and Business Applications (ICCITBA) which will be held on 6th of May 2017 in Durrës, Albania.
The conference will be organized in collaboration of Faculty of Information Technology, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës and Canadian Institute of Technology.
The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Information Technology and Systems, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, ICT applications in business and other fields related to ICT.
Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and more offering premier interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Computing and Information Technology.
All honorable authors are kindly encouraged to contribute and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts, papers and posters.

All submitted manuscripts should contain previously unpublished original research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following fields: 

  • Computer Sciences
  • Database Technologies

The review process will be double-blind. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two members of
scientific committee. The acceptance decisions will take into account paper novelty, technical
depth, elegance, practical or theoretic impact, and presentation.

  • Original: the paper explores a new idea, project or issue; discusses existing research
    with promise of new insight, discusses new research; or presents new ways of
    considering existing information
  • Engaging: presentation format will involve the audience in some way, or has high
    potential to attract conference attendees by addressing needs of the community
  • Significant: the paper raises and discusses issues important to improving the
    effectiveness and/or sustainability of open education efforts, and its contents can be
    broadly disseminated and understood
  • Quality: claims are supported by sufficient data; claims draw upon relevant literature;
    and limitations are described honestly
  • Relevant: the paper addresses one or more of the themes of the conference

Your extended abstract will be part of the poster session.
Please read carefully the instructions below.

Posters are a combination of content and appearance. The content must be interesting, professional, and appealing to a broad audience. The appearance of the posters should be attractive, with a combination of graphics, photographs, and text.

Please try to include somewhere on your poster the titleauthor(s) and institutional affiliation(s) to match the information you submitted about your poster. This is the information attendees will have in their printed programme so it will help them to find the posters they want to see.

For printed posters, the standard poster size of DIN A0 841mm wide x 1189mm high is the minimum size.

Formatting Guidelines
 Papers must be in English and not more than 10 double column pages in length.
 Paper content must be original and relevant to one of the many conference topics.
 Authors are required to ensure accuracy of quotations, citations, diagrams, maps, and tables.
 Figures and tables need to be placed where they are to appear in the text and must be clear
and easy to view.
 Papers and presentations must follow format according to the paper template.
Types of presentation and publications:
 The ICCITBA conference will be held in Durrës in Oral, Poster, and Videoconference Sessions.
 All accepted papers will be published in Proceedings Book (ISBN- print and ISSN – Online)
and selected papers will be offered to publish for free in Scientific Journal.
 The conference language is English.

  • The registration fee for every paper is 50 € for the first author and an additional 20 €
    for each coauthor.
  • If a coauthor has contributed in more than one paper than he/she has to make only one
    single fee payment (20€). If the coauthor has contributed at least in one other paper as
    first author than the coauthor fee payment is not necessary.
  • One regular registration can cover a paper between five to ten pages, including all
    figures, tables, and references.
  • One regular registration with one or more additional papers has only one proceeding
    book.
  • For your final paper to be published, the registration in the conference must be
    completed by deadline. Otherwise, the paper will not be included in the Conference
    Program.
  • A special registration for student session is for free. (Student will be considered bachelor or Master Students).
