Qualifications:
- PhD in/or closely-related disciplines from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to translate theories and concepts into practical applications
- The ability to teach in English language (English certificate, level C1).
Candidates with no PhD but with specific qualifications and experience might be considered as well.
The applicant should be committed to innovative teaching methodologies and student-centered learning. Experience in working with second-language learners or in international academic contexts is an asset.

“DEAN OF FACULTY OF ECONOMY”
with the following criteria:
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR or higher title in Management, Economics, Finance or related fields and a record of excellence in scholarship, teaching and service that would ensure eligibility for tenure at CIT.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in teaching.
- Experience in leading positions (Head of Department, Dean) at higher education institutions.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

Full Time Lecturer in Finance and Accounting
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates are expected to:
-Candidates should have preferably a Ph.D. in finance and accounting; candidates holding an MBA degree will also be considered.
– Have carried out excellent research in the academic field mentioned above, proven by, among other things, recent outstanding publications in national and international peer reviewed journals and/or books;
– Have experience in supervising research and/or coaching students;
– Possess the necessary didactic, organisational and communication skills for teaching at all levels;

Full time lecturer in Finance
The Business School at CIT is currently seeking a Senior Lecturer with demonstrated strengths in finance, banking and portfolio management. He/she will be in charge of the Finance and Accounting Department and will teach subjects ranging from fundamentals of finance, advance corporate finance, portfolio investment selection, bank and risk management, etc.. The successful applicant will be expected to make a strong contribution to research, coordinate and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in finance and accounting topics; supervise research students and make a positive contribution to the reputation of the Department, Faculty and University.
Responsibilities include:
– Academic teaching: courses in intro fundamentals of finance, advance corporate finance, portfolio investment selection, bank and risk management, etc. on bachelor- and/or master level, focusing on the further development of the financial engineering option within the Business degrees; supervision of master dissertations and seminars. Positively evaluated teaching experience on bachelor and/or masters level is an advantage.
– Undertake research work on the field of expertise and team with researchers on different research programs;
-Organize and coordinate research related activities in areas of his/her expertise;
– Build and organize a network of professional organizations, local and abroad, to partner in potential research and development projects;
– In consultation and coordination with the Research Unit of CIT, the Deans and faculty members, develop research programs and plan activities related to research and development in area of finance and accounting;

– Hold a PhD degree with doctoral thesis or a degree recognized as equivalent – or in the process of finalizing the studies within the academic year; preferably the studies to be with a prestigious academic institutions in Europe or North America;

– Have experience in supervising research and/or coaching students;
– Possess the necessary didactic, organizational and communication skills for teaching at all levels;
